Warehouse Officer

About the role

As a Warehouse Officer at Shalina Healthcare Ghana you will lead all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of products. You will supervise staff, maintain inventory accuracy and uphold health and safety standards to support the company’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching inventory.
• Verify incoming stock against delivery documents and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance of warehouse assistants and other staff.
• Maintain proper storage, organization, safety and compliance with company standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely order picking and packing to meet customer or internal requirements.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts and stock reconciliations, investigating discrepancies.
• Enforce warehouse health and safety standards and maintain cleanliness, organization and security of the premises.
• Supervise loading and unloading of trucks, containers and delivery vehicles.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement and other departments for smooth operations.
• Train, coach and develop warehouse staff to improve efficiency and performance.
• Prepare and submit operational reports to management.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Required profile

• HND or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in warehouse operations, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse procedures.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
