About the role
Sightsavers Kenya, on behalf of the Kenya Business and Disability Network (KBDN), seeks a qualified consultant or firm to redesign and redevelop the KBDN website. The project spans 10 weeks of delivery and implementation followed by six months of post‑launch support.
Key responsibilities
- Review the existing site and propose improvements, including a new sitemap and navigation.
- Design and develop a CMS‑based, mobile‑responsive website that meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards.
- Migrate approved content, configure basic SEO, and create an administrator‑managed performance and learning dashboard.
- Conduct testing, quality assurance, deployment, and provide administrator training with handover documentation.
Required profile
- Proven experience in website design and CMS development for NGOs, membership networks or similar organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver responsive, accessible websites and to train non‑technical users.
- At least three comparable assignments completed within the last five years.
