Zone Supervisor – Retail Operations (Kenya)

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a motivated Zone Supervisor to lead retail operations for its Tupande program in Kenya. You will oversee sales, repayment and impact targets across your zone, working closely with Duka Assistants, Field Agents and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality agricultural services to smallholder farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales, repayment and impact targets for the assigned zone.
• Manage performance of multiple channels throughout the business cycle and act as the primary contact for zonal results.
• Provide technical support and training to Duka Assistants and Field Agents, including weekly meetings.
• Plan and supervise work schedules, inventory ordering, data entry and merchandising activities.
• Maintain a controlled environment at the Duka and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Recruit, train and manage team performance, fostering a high‑performing sales culture.
• Support the design and rollout of promotional programs within the zone.
• Assist customers in understanding their needs and guide them through the buying journey.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree with at least 2 years of experience in a sales, partner or channel management role.
• Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets and manage teams in a field‑based environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Suite.
