Account Manager

About the role

CBX Solutions is seeking an Account Manager to act as a trusted advisor for clients needing integrated security, access control, video surveillance, and door hardware solutions. You will combine consultative sales expertise with technical knowledge to drive growth across assigned territories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, general contractors, and construction managers.
• Identify and qualify opportunities for integrated security and door hardware solutions through proactive outreach.
• Deliver onsite and virtual presentations showcasing access control, video surveillance, and opening solutions.
• Collaborate with internal brands, engineering, project management, and estimating teams to create accurate scopes, pricing, and timelines.
• Prepare and submit proposals, RFP responses, quotes, and technical documentation.
• Manage the sales pipeline in CRM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) ensuring data integrity.
• Stay updated on product developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.
• Facilitate smooth handoffs to project and operations teams.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; proven experience in consultative sales.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as ConnectWise.
• Knowledge of access control systems.
• Familiarity with video surveillance technologies.
• Understanding of door hardware and opening solutions.
