Accountant - Remote

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑obsessed Accountant to support the financial health of our two fast‑moving entities in the UAE and Singapore. Reporting to the Chief of Staff and working with a fractional CFO, you will own day‑to‑day bookkeeping and cash‑flow management in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑currency bank reconciliations and maintain accurate Xero records.
• Prepare month‑end manual journals, accruals, pre‑payments and other closing entries.
• Manage accounts receivable, conduct professional collection communications via email, WhatsApp or phone, and ensure timely cash collection.
• Generate regular financial reports and support multi‑entity accounting processes.
• Maintain data hygiene for sensitive financial information, including tax registration numbers and e‑invoicing requirements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of bookkeeping or accounts administration experience, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Proven expertise with Xero, including bank reconciliations, invoicing, and multi‑organisation management.
• Strong track record in accounts receivable collections and month‑end close.
• Highly organized, self‑managing and able to meet recurring deadlines without micromanagement.
• Excellent written and spoken English and a high level of discretion with confidential data.
