About the role
Oshwal Academy is seeking a qualified Accounts/Economics Teacher to join its dynamic team in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will deliver the British Curriculum to students from pre‑school through Year 13, preparing them for examinations and fostering a strong understanding of accounting and economics concepts.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in Accounts and Economics following the British National Curriculum.
- Prepare students for exams and handle grading and assessment tasks.
- Maintain classroom discipline and authority to create a productive learning environment.
- Develop and update curriculum materials and teaching guidelines.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in the relevant subject (B.Ed. preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in Accounts/Economics.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Experience with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
Required skills
- Effective teaching and classroom management.
- Exam preparation and grading expertise.
- Curriculum development and guideline creation.
