Administrator for Music Generation South Dublin

About the role

The Administrator will support the Music Generation Development Officer in delivering high‑quality performance music education programmes across South Dublin. This full‑time, fixed‑term position combines administrative duties with a passion for community music development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in organising and delivering Music Generation South Dublin programmes, including workshops, concerts and events.
• Support promotion activities and day‑to‑day running of music education initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics such as venue bookings, transport arrangements and equipment handling.
• Maintain records, manage communications and provide general administrative support to the team.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in administration, arts management or a related field.
• Strong enthusiasm for music in all its forms and its community development.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple sites within South Dublin County.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
