AI & Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Finlays Kenya is looking for an AI & Business Intelligence Analyst to connect enterprise data with advanced artificial‑intelligence solutions. The role will focus on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP environment and Power BI to turn raw data into strategic financial and operational insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, fine‑tune and deploy autonomous AI agents, prompt frameworks and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) applications to automate routine workflows across departments.
• Extract, clean, transform and analyse complex datasets from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and visualisations that support financial, operational and commercial decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director to generate analytics reports and actionable recommendations.
• Maintain data quality, documentation and governance standards within the ERP ecosystem.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least five years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or AI‑driven automation.
• Proven track record of working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong understanding of financial and operational processes in a manufacturing or agribusiness environment.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for stakeholders.
