Appearance Technician

About the role
The Appearance Technician is responsible for washing, detailing, and buffing/waxing trucks to maintain a professional look. This position offers hands‑on experience with Class 8 on‑highway vehicles and occasional light tractor or trailer maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Assess incoming equipment using a checklist and report any deficiencies.
- Physically scrub, rinse, buff, and wax the exterior of trucks.
- Clean interior components, including shampooing carpeted areas as needed.
- Perform minor tractor or trailer maintenance tasks.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required profile
- High school diploma preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills for communicating with drivers.
- Physical ability to lift 100 lb, climb on/off equipment, and bend or squat for extended periods.
