About the role
The Kenya Medical Training College is seeking an Artisan Grade 3 to perform improvement, repair and maintenance work for hospital facilities and equipment in Westlands, Nairobi.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out improvement works in a specific area of specialization.
- Undertake repair and maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment.
- Conduct general fitting and simple construction tasks.
- Prepare repair and maintenance schedules and progress reports.
- Maintain workshop and store inventories.
- Make sketches and estimates for simple structures and modify works as needed.
Required profile
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ or equivalent.
- National Trade Test III Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery, Turning & Fitting, Plumbing, Welding & Fabricating, or Electrical.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
