Assistant Field Sales Manager

About the role

Solar Panda is seeking an Assistant Field Sales Manager to support the Field Sales Manager in achieving sales targets across the assigned area. The role involves recruiting, training, and supervising commission‑based field agents while ensuring they are equipped to drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Field Sales Manager in meeting area sales targets.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding and training new field agents.
• Accompany field agents on activities, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Monitor market dynamics, customer behaviour, product demand and competitor activity, and report insights to management.
• Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to lead generation strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement local sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in sales or micro‑finance, preferably in rural areas.
• Experience supporting or managing sales teams is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to plan, strategize and act to achieve set outcomes.
• Diploma in a relevant field is an added advantage.
