Assistant Product Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Product Sales Manager to support vendor alignment, go‑to‑market execution, and channel development for Splunk, Symantec and Illumio solutions across East Africa. The role works closely with senior product leaders to drive growth and partner engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Support collaboration with Splunk, Symantec and Illumio vendors to align business priorities, pipelines and growth targets.
• Assist in executing GTM plans, including promotions, campaigns, pricing support and demand generation.
• Contribute to product lifecycle management: forecasting, pipeline tracking and performance reporting.
• Help build and expand the partner/channel ecosystem by onboarding, enabling and supporting resellers and system integrators.
• Coordinate sales activities, pipeline development and deal progression with internal sales teams.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in product management, vendor management or cybersecurity/IT solutions.
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting, reporting and performance tracking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Proactive mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Splunk (SIEM, Observability, Data Analytics).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Symantec (Endpoint Security, DLP, Email Security).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Illumio (Zero Trust Segmentation, Micro‑segmentation).
