About the role
The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development is seeking an Assistant Studio Technical Operator III to support studio and control‑room operations. The role involves setting up equipment, operating recording devices, and maintaining studio logs.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate, organize and prioritize office activities to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Set up and dismantle studio and control‑room equipment.
- Operate basic audio and visual recording equipment during live or pre‑recorded sessions.
- Handle cables, lighting, microphones, and signal routing under guidance.
- Log broadcast sessions and maintain studio logs.
- Perform basic cleaning and equipment maintenance routines.
- Label and archive recordings and digital content.
- Report faults and escalate technical issues.
