Assistant Trainer – Agriculture

About the role

Assistant Trainer – Agriculture will deliver competence‑based training in agriculture and agricultural extension within the TVET institute environment. The position is on‑site in Meru and requires a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension together with CBET/CBA and pedagogy training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Extension or a related field, with CBET/CBA and pedagogy training.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Highly organized and hard‑working.

• Submit three hard copies of the application, including CV, certificates, ID, passport and other relevant documents, to the Director, Kenya Methodist University TVET Institute, P.O. Box 267 – 60200 Meru, Kenya.
