Associate Market Access Specialist

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Market Access Specialist to improve stroke care across West Kenya. You will work closely with hospitals, emergency services and healthcare professionals to increase the efficiency and quality of stroke patient management.

Key responsibilities

• Increase efficiency in the management of stroke patients.
• Support hospitals, EMS, and healthcare professionals with continuous training and organizational tools.
• Promote new diagnostic and treatment guidelines to hospitals as an expert Therapeutic Consultant.
• Promote quality monitoring programs to ensure consistent performance of hospitals and EMS.
• Extend the project’s reach to new hospitals and lead multidisciplinary stroke teams through continuous improvement.
• Improve therapeutic protocols in major hospitals.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background, ideally a PhD in Neuroscience.
• High motivation with strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Fluency in English, flexible, solution‑oriented and resilient.
• Experience in the healthcare environment, working with healthcare organizations and professionals.
• Proactive in seeking process and outcome improvements.
• Valid Kenyan driving licence, experienced driver, and ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Eligibility to work full‑time in Kenya.
