Associate Professor – Pharmaceutics

About the role

Zetech University is looking for a strategic, forward‑thinking Associate Professor in Pharmaceutics to lead teaching, research and innovation initiatives. The role bridges academia and industry, enhancing graduate employability while ensuring sustainable programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Teach allocated Pharmacy units, delivering high‑quality lectures and practical sessions.
• Design, develop and deliver new and existing programmes of study at various levels.
• Assess student performance through examinations, OSCEs, coursework and practical evaluations.
• Supervise student research projects, dissertations and clinical placements.
• Review and update pharmacy course content regularly.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and research activities.
• Conduct research, write grant proposals and disseminate findings at conferences and webinars.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.

Required profile

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in a related field; PhD is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to connect academia with industry and improve graduate employability.
• Experience in teaching, curriculum design and supervising research projects.
