About the role

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the leading global environmental authority, setting the agenda for sustainable development and advocating for the planet. This Associate Programme Management Officer (P2) will support UNEP’s Resource Mobilization & Donor Relations (RMDR) Unit in Nairobi, contributing to the implementation of UNEP’s Medium‑Term Strategy, Programme of Work and Budget. Reporting to the Head of the RMDR Unit, the incumbent will work closely with the Executive Office, the Communications Division and programme teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Support knowledge management related to UNEP’s funding and partnership activities.
Assist in communication and outreach to enhance transparency on funding needs and opportunities.
Coordinate with the Executive Office, Communications Division and relevant programme teams to strengthen organizational coherence.
Contribute to improving partner engagement and maximizing impact of resource mobilisation efforts.
