Automotive Sales Executive

About the role

The Automotive Sales Executive will be responsible for driving vehicle and spare‑parts sales at our Nakuru showroom. The ideal candidate is passionate about automobiles, enjoys interacting with customers and consistently meets sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk‑in customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles and parts within their budget.
• Demonstrate vehicle features, specifications, performance and financing options.
• Arrange test drives and conduct vehicle presentations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge of all vehicle parts, pricing and market trends.
• Keep the showroom clean, organized and presentable.
• Handle enquiries via phone, email and social media.
• Build and nurture customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Follow up on leads, prepare quotations and negotiate sales while adhering to pricing policies.
• Assist customers with required documentation for spare‑parts purchases.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock requirements to management.
• Record sales activities and customer information in the company’s sales system.
• Stay informed about competitor products, pricing and automotive market trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Certificate in Automotive Engineering or related automotive course is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years experience in vehicle sales, automotive showroom or related sales role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.

• In‑depth knowledge of motor vehicle parts, makes, models and specifications.
• Sales and negotiation techniques.
