B2B Commercial Finance Cold Caller (UK Market)

About the role

We are looking for a high‑energy B2B Commercial Finance Cold Caller to generate qualified leads for business loans, asset finance and other commercial lending products across the UK market. You will be the first point of contact, introducing tailored finance solutions to business owners and decision‑makers and feeding a robust pipeline to the senior sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Make at least 100 outbound cold calls per day to UK‑based business owners and decision‑makers.
• Clearly present finance offerings such as business loans, asset finance, working capital and invoice finance.
• Qualify leads against defined business criteria and suitability for commercial lending.
• Secure 15‑20 qualified appointments each week for senior sales colleagues.
• Maintain accurate activity and lead status records in HubSpot.
• Follow up on warm leads and inbound enquiries to maximise conversion.
• Contribute to script development, value‑led messaging and outreach strategy.
• Provide weekly reports on call volumes, conversion rates and market insights.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of B2B cold‑calling, lead generation or appointment‑setting experience in the finance sector.
• Understanding of commercial lending and business finance in the UK market.
• Excellent phone manner – confident, professional and persuasive with senior stakeholders.
• Highly resilient, able to handle objections and meet weekly quotas independently.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
