Bakery/Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Bakery/Sales Manager to oversee daily bakery operations, maintain high product quality, and drive sales growth. The role combines production management with strategic marketing to expand our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day bakery operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Manage production schedules, control wastage, and uphold product quality standards.
• Supervise and motivate staff to meet operational and sales targets.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to grow the business.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, and retail partners.
• Manage inventory levels, procure raw materials, and coordinate supply chain activities.
• Prepare operational, sales, and performance reports.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Manage the company fleet, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance, fuel monitoring, and driver supervision.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
• Handle customer complaints promptly to protect brand reputation.
• Maintain bakery equipment and coordinate distribution and delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience (minimum 2 years) in bakery or food production management.
• Proven track record in sales and marketing within the food sector.
• Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Experience managing inventory, procurement, and fleet operations.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
