Branch Assistant

About the role

The Branch Assistant will support daily operations at the Bombolulu branch, ensuring accurate stock handling, inventory control, and a clean, customer‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming stock deliveries, verify quantities and document accurately.
• Inspect received goods for quality and compliance together with the Regional Supervisor.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile inventory variances and report discrepancies.
• Maintain branch cleanliness, arranging rotogals, drums, crates, displays and weighing scales.
• Weigh fish for client orders on request and verify payment records.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels and operational issues for the Regional Supervisor.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth operations and timely customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma; certificate in Sales, Marketing or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales, marketing or inventory‑related roles.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Basic inventory management tools.
