About the role
Salaam Microfinance Bank is hiring a Branch Manager for its Mombasa branch. The role leads deposit mobilization and the growth of the Sharia-compliant financing portfolio, oversees daily branch operations, and is accountable for the branch's performance and physical security.
Key responsibilities
- Drive deposit mobilization and grow the Sharia-compliant financing portfolio
- Oversee daily branch operations, including vault management and teller service
- Ensure 100% compliance with KYC, AML and Sharia guidelines at the branch
- Manage branch performance against set KPIs (growth, PAR and customer service)
- Foster strong relationships with local business owners and community leaders
- Be responsible for the branch P&L and the physical security of branch assets
