Branch Team Leader – Kisumu

About the role

The Branch Team Leader will oversee all daily operations of the Kisumu showroom, ensuring smooth sales, accurate inventory control, and excellent customer service. This role combines operational management, cash handling, and staff supervision to meet branch performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise sales, stock control, customer service and overall branch performance.
• Manage staff schedules, assign duties and monitor individual performance.
• Ensure accurate documentation is completed by design consultants and dispatched to relevant departments.
• Verify payroll data, monitor leave records and address clock‑card queries.
• Maintain data integrity in the system and ensure timely cancellation of accounts.
• Oversee cash desk operations, enforce cash handling procedures and monitor debtor accounts weekly.
• Assist in preparing branch budgets and cash‑flow forecasts while controlling petty cash expenses.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies and company standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or FMCG branch management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team through coaching and training.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Experience in cash handling, inventory management and basic financial reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales and operational targets.
