Business Analyst – Registry Transformation

About the role

ASIC is seeking a Business Analyst to support the RegistryConnect transformation programme. You will work across Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne or Traralgon, analysing business needs, shaping solutions and delivering high‑quality outcomes in a dynamic project environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business, legal, policy and IT stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, ensuring alignment with legislative obligations.
• Develop clear as‑is and to‑be process maps to inform improvements and solution design.
• Translate business, functional and non‑functional requirements into accessible formats for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support testing and implementation by creating test scenarios, executing tests, identifying issues and collaborating with subject‑matter experts.
• Contribute to operational readiness to ensure registry solutions are fit‑for‑purpose.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience working in project environments with strong process‑mapping and continuous‑improvement skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities, capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.
