Business Development Advisor (Lodwar)

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a Business Development Advisor to work directly with micro and small entrepreneurs in the Lodwar community. You will help mobilize clients, deliver training, and provide business consulting to support thriving local enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and enroll eligible entrepreneurs into Inkomoko programs, communicating program details and addressing challenges.
• Act as an Inkomoko ambassador, building relationships with community structures and ensuring cultural fit of participants.
• Organize and manage all training logistics, including printing materials, venue setup, attendance tracking, and timely start of sessions.
• Deliver training using Inkomoko materials in Somali, Kiswahili, and English, and collaborate with senior trainers to refine modules.
• Provide business consulting to entrepreneurs, guiding them through growth strategies and linking them to financing opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in community outreach or client mobilization, preferably with micro‑enterprise or refugee entrepreneurs.
• Strong communication skills in Somali, Kiswahili, and English.
• Ability to travel within the Lodwar area and work independently on‑site.
