Business Development Executive – Corporate B2B

About the role

Satya Advertising Ltd, a Nairobi‑based marketing agency, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to lead B2B client acquisition for its corporate gifting and creative solutions. The role focuses on prospecting, selling, and expanding relationships with enterprise brands across sectors such as banking, insurance, automotive, consumer goods, hospitality, telecom and oil & gas.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, cold‑call and arrange face‑to‑face meetings with procurement and marketing heads of major corporations in Nairobi.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and needs discovery to quotation, closing and post‑sale client success.
• Cross‑sell premium corporate gifting and merchandise to introduce clients to broader creative, print production and social media marketing services.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships to secure recurring annual contracts and drive account growth.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine positioning and value proposition.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of proven B2B corporate sales or business development experience in Nairobi.
• Demonstrated success selling promotional merchandise or corporate gifting solutions.
• Strong “hunter” mindset with excellent networking, communication and presentation abilities.
• Basic commercial literacy and ability to create professional pitches, quotes and invoices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
