Business Development Manager - Electrical Department

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Business Development Manager for its Electrical Department in Ngara. The role drives growth in sales of electrical products, equipment, installations, maintenance and technical services to corporate clients, hospitals, laboratories, universities and other institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities and develop business development strategies, sales plans and revenue targets for the Electrical Department.
• Research the market to find emerging opportunities, customer needs, competitor activity and potential markets.
• Build relationships with corporate clients, hospitals, laboratories, universities, research institutions, contractors and other customers through visits, presentations, meetings and follow-ups.
• Promote electrical equipment such as UPS systems, power protection equipment and electrical control systems, working with technical teams to recommend solutions and prepare quotations, proposals and technical-commercial submissions.
• Identify tenders, RFQs and procurement opportunities, coordinate their preparation and submission, and negotiate pricing and contracts within approved authority.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, electrical engineering sales or industrial equipment sales.
• Proven track record of finding new clients, managing sales pipelines, preparing commercial proposals and hitting revenue targets.
• Experience selling electrical equipment, UPS systems, power protection solutions, laboratory equipment or scientific instruments.
• Established relationships with hospitals, laboratories, universities, research institutions, contractors, procurement teams or corporate clients.
