Business Development Manager – Healthcare

About the role

Ndonyo Healthcare, a private hospital with branches in Naivasha, Gilgil and Kwa Muhia, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth. The role focuses on increasing patient volumes, building corporate and insurance partnerships, and raising the hospital’s profile within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute business development strategies to boost patient numbers and revenue.
• Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with corporations, insurers, NGOs, and referral networks.
• Promote hospital services through outreach, marketing campaigns, and community engagement.
• Conduct market research to spot trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, service packages, and partnership agreements.
• Monitor business performance metrics, including revenue growth and client acquisition.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Represent the hospital at corporate meetings, health forums, and networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales or marketing, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare services, insurance processes and corporate client management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• High integrity and strong networking skills.
