Business Operations Analyst – Africa

About the role

The Business Operations Analyst – Africa will act as a strategic partner to the Regional Business Services Department (BSD) Manager, providing operational analytics, business intelligence and performance monitoring across all BSD functions in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain regional dashboards, scorecards and management reports.
• Extract, validate, analyse and synthesize data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other institutional systems.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual operational performance reports and executive presentations.
• Create reporting tools that highlight performance, risks, trends and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and operational planning through data analysis.
• Coordinate regional BSD projects and strategic initiatives, maintaining trackers, action logs and risk registers.
• Monitor procurement cycle times, fleet utilisation, travel expenditures, inventory levels and warehouse utilisation.
• Analyse inventory turnover and identify slow‑moving or excess stock.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business analysis and operational performance monitoring.
• Ability to translate operational data into actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Strong coordination skills for managing projects and strategic initiatives.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for data extraction and reporting.
