Cambridge Curriculum Teacher – Year 9 Homeroom & Early Years

About the role

EDAS Consulting Services is seeking qualified teachers for its Cambridge Campus in Kisii, Kenya. The positions include a Year 9 Homeroom Teacher and an Early Years Teacher, both delivering the Cambridge International Curriculum in a supportive, Christian‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Provide academic, pastoral and wellbeing support to assigned learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress through continuous assessments, projects and examinations.
• Maintain accurate records, produce progress reports and identify learners needing additional support.
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians and subject teachers.
• Participate in co‑curricular activities, school events and professional development programmes.
• Uphold the school’s Christian ethos and promote high standards of behaviour.

Required profile

• Mid‑level teaching experience (minimum 5 years).
• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Strong pastoral care skills and ability to mentor adolescents.
• Commitment to the school’s Christian values.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using educational technology tools for lesson delivery.
• Ability to develop and adapt teaching resources.
