About the role
The Rift Valley National Polytechnic is seeking a dedicated Carpentry & Joinery Trainer to join its team in Nakuru, Westlands. In this full‑time position you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction in carpentry and joinery to students pursuing vocational qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver classroom and workshop sessions covering carpentry and joinery techniques.
- Prepare teaching materials and practical exercises aligned with the curriculum.
- Assess student work, provide feedback and record progress.
- Maintain a safe workshop environment and ensure tools and equipment are used correctly.
Required profile
- Diploma in a related carpentry, joinery or wood technology course.
- Industry experience in carpentry or joinery is an added advantage.
