Chef de Partie (Full-time)

About the role

Country Bistro, a modern restaurant in Juja City Mall, is seeking a skilled and dependable Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team. The successful candidate will manage an assigned station, ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation, and support the team in delivering consistent, quality dishes to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee key kitchen stations such as grill, sauté, and salad.
• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Inspect ingredients for freshness and enforce food hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels for the assigned station and communicate supply needs to the senior chef.
• Guide, train, and supervise junior chefs working within the station.
• Assist with menu development, daily specials, and seasonal menu changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Passion for quality, consistency, and culinary creativity.
