Child Protection Digital Solutions Specialist

About the role

The Child Protection Digital Solutions Specialist will be based in Nairobi and will lead the design, development, rollout and maintenance of digital tools that support child protection and child rights initiatives worldwide. Reporting to the Global Child Rights and Business Advisor, the role bridges technology, case management and learning to ensure safe, ethical, and high‑quality programming.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain digital solutions (including dashboards) for all HQ‑managed Child Rights and Business projects.
• Oversee technical implementation and manage partnerships for digital tools, including the CPMS+ inter‑agency platform and Tdh Salus CRB tool.
• Provide technical supervision to third‑party contractors delivering digital solutions.
• Lead capacity‑building activities for end‑users of the digital tools.
• Support Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning processes through data‑driven decision making.
• Act as a cross‑cutting link between digital solutions, case‑management practice and organisational learning within the Child Protection sector.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and managing digital solutions for humanitarian or child protection contexts.
• Strong understanding of child protection case‑management systems and data governance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and travel frequently to Tdh offices and partner sites.
• Excellent communication skills for capacity‑building and stakeholder engagement.

Required skills

• Experience with digital platform configuration, dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Familiarity with CPMS+ or similar case‑management tools.
• Knowledge of ICT4D principles and best practices.
