Child Protection Digital Solutions Specialist - Kenya

About the role

The Child Protection Digital Solutions Specialist will be based in Nairobi and will support Terre des hommes’ global Child Rights and Business (CRB) initiatives. Reporting to the Global CRB Advisor, the role combines technical expertise in digital tools with a strong protection mandate to improve child protection programming worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, roll out and maintain digital solutions and dashboards for all HQ‑managed CRB projects.
• Oversee technical implementation and manage partnerships for digital solutions across multiple countries.
• Provide technical oversight for third‑party contractors delivering CRB digital tools.
• Lead capacity‑building activities for end‑users of CPMS+ and Salus CRB tools.
• Support monitoring, evaluation and learning processes through data‑driven decision making.
• Bridge digital solutions, case‑management practice and organisational learning within the Child Protection sector.

Required profile

• Experience working in child protection, humanitarian or related sectors.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing digital solutions for protection programmes.
• Ability to operate under the protection mandate and collaborate with ICT4D/DII units.
• Willingness to travel frequently for global missions.
• Based in Nairobi, Kenya.
