Childcare Practitioner – Early Years Educator

About the role

Little Harvard Childcare is seeking enthusiastic Early Years Educators to join our team across multiple centres in Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and offers the chance to make a lasting impact on children’s development while growing your professional career.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of purposeful play and educational programmes.
• Manage daily paperwork, observations and progress reports.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
• Document children’s emerging interests and developmental milestones.
• Apply safeguarding, health and safety policies consistently.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 5 in Childcare or an equivalent DCYA‑approved qualification.
• Strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, well‑being and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining clean, safe classroom settings.
