Claims Representative

About the role

The Claims Representative will adjudicate international medical, dental and vision claims in line with Cigna Healthcare policy terms. The role requires meeting productivity and quality targets while providing timely support to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicate international medical, dental and vision claims according to policy terms and conditions.
• Monitor high‑cost claims and ensure relevant parties are informed.
• Track turnaround times to meet required settlement deadlines and alert supervisors when needed.
• Respond to enquiries on plan design, eligibility and claim status within defined timeframes, aiming for first‑call resolution.
• Interface with internal and external customers to resolve issues effectively.
• Identify potential process improvements and recommend them to senior team members.
• Support team members and contribute to achieving overall team goals.
• Collaborate with European business units to meet service needs and perform ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a claims role within healthcare, insurance or a related field.
• Customer‑focused with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to meet or exceed targets while managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical calculations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
