About the role
Baker Hughes is looking for a Commercial Manager – Integrated Solutions to lead proposal development, contract negotiation and business development for a strategic product line. You will work across multiple territories, shaping market vision and ensuring deals create shareholder value.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit proposals, bids and tender documentation.
- Negotiate contracts, assess commercial risk and ensure compliance with commitments.
- Develop long‑term market strategy for the product line and lead business‑development planning.
- Manage complex sales cycles involving internal and client stakeholders, covering technical, economic, logistical and financial aspects.
- Collaborate with technical colleagues to address customer requirements and local conditions.
- Handle key accounts and medium‑sized sales across a country or large territory.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in proposals, commercial activities and tendering within the oil & gas sector.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, fluent English communication, and proven interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proactive, customer‑focused attitude with the ability to work independently.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- MS Project or equivalent project‑management tool.
