Commercial Partnerships Lead - Fintech

About the role

Mezzanine Ware is looking for a Commercial Partnerships Lead with strong fintech experience to maximise the commercial potential of its product portfolio across strategic sales channels. The role sits in Westlands, Nairobi, and works closely with Product, Sales and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Shape product positioning and value propositions, and develop packaging and monetisation models
• Translate the go-to-market strategy into effective channel sales activation
• Secure channel buy-in and ensure solutions are formally represented in channel product portfolios
• Align product, pricing, placement and promotion with market opportunities
• Support end-to-end commercialisation: lead generation, pre-sales, proposals, commercial structuring, contracting, onboarding, billing and account growth
• Monitor channel performance against targets, run regular performance reviews and use channel insights to improve sales activation

Required profile

• 5+ years in a senior role covering complex software sales, product commercialisation or business development in fintech
• Strong knowledge of competitors, trends and opportunities in the Sub-Saharan African fintech market
• Experience with multinational corporates and matrix organisations, ideally in ICT solutions
• Experience building and leading sales and cross-functional teams
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Marketing or a related field
