Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist

About the role

The Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist will deliver safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centred obstetric and gynaecological care across Zuri Health’s physical and virtual platforms. This full‑time position is based in Nairobi and involves both on‑site clinical work and digital health consultations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetric and gynaecology consultations, assessing and managing women’s reproductive health needs.
• Deliver care through both in‑person visits and telemedicine/digital health platforms, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• MBChB/MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MMed, fellowship or board certification).
• Full registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, a valid practising licence and professional indemnity cover.
• At least 12–18 months of post‑specialisation clinical experience, preferably in a busy hospital setting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for improving access to quality healthcare.

Required skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and hospital management systems.
• Experience with telemedicine or digital health consultation platforms.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient management abilities.
