Content & Social Media Specialist

About the role

Tropical Heat Group is looking for a high-energy, creative and data-driven Content & Social Media Specialist to lead its digital storytelling. The role suits a digital native who can build a community, capture attention with compelling content and turn followers into brand advocates. You will own the end-to-end social media strategy, from trend spotting and video and photo content to community management and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run a social media calendar aligned with marketing objectives and brand identity.
• Script, film and edit short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and lifestyle photography.
• Write witty, engaging, brand-aligned captions and copy.
• Plan, launch and manage paid and organic campaigns for brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.
• Engage the community actively, responding to comments and messages with "Heart & Honesty".
• Identify, onboard and manage relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors.
• Track engagement, reach and growth metrics and report weekly and monthly using Google Workspace.
• Use AI tools for copywriting, trend analysis and rapid visual prototyping.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in social media management or digital content creation, preferably in FMCG or lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and X and their algorithms.
• Proficiency in mobile video editors such as CapCut.
• Experience with Google Workspace (G Suite) for collaboration and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for content efficiency and creative brainstorming.
• Authentic storytelling, attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to work with design and marketing teams.
