Contract Management Specialist – Procurement Buyer

About the role

The Contract Management Specialist (Buyer) at BPMI is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from budgeting and negotiation to administration and close‑out, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and government specifications. The role supports multiple projects, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Compile input and analyses for budgets, prime contract proposals, and post‑award financial assessments.
• Develop price, cost, and hybrid estimates to support budget forecasts and acquisitions.
• Create acquisition strategies, conduct risk assessments, and obtain required government approvals.
• Prepare and issue RFPs, conduct proposal openings, and analyze supplier proposals.
• Negotiate purchase orders, manage contract amendments, and ensure timely close‑out documentation.
• Maintain continuous communication with suppliers, process shipping documents and invoices, and generate required reports.
• Build and sustain relationships with supplier counterparts and internal stakeholders.
