About the role
The Kenya Veterinary Board is seeking a Corporate Communication Officer II to manage media relations, public engagement and internal communications. This entry‑level, full‑time position is based in Nairobi and focuses on promoting a positive corporate image and handling stakeholder communications.
Key responsibilities
- Record customer complaints, compliments and associated responses.
- Promote a positive corporate image of the Kenya Veterinary Board.
- Post and manage content on the Board’s website and social media platforms under supervision.
- Collect and collate comments from across the Board’s social media channels.
- Support graphic design for promotional, IEC materials, reports and documents as needed.
- Process information from the customer care desk under supervision.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English Literature, Public Administration, Public Relations or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
