Corporate Sales Representative

About the role

A growing detergents manufacturing company, represented by Johari Solutions, is hiring a full-time Corporate Sales Representative in Nairobi (Westlands). The role sits in the Sales & Marketing department and reports to the Business Support Manager. The successful candidate will target corporate and institutional customers such as hotels, restaurants, hospitals, churches, country clubs, schools and other corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new corporate clients
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
• Manage and grow existing corporate accounts
• Conduct client visits, presentations and product demonstrations
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities
• Negotiate and close sales within approved guidelines
• Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect records
• Research the market and competitors, identify new markets and segments, and prepare regular sales activity and performance reports
• Build long-term professional relationships with customers

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field
• 2-4 years of proven B2B/corporate sales experience
• Track record of achieving sales targets
• Comfortable with field work and regular client visits
• FMCG or manufacturing experience is an advantage; a valid driving licence is an advantage
