Customer Service Representative – Bilingual (Spanish)

About the role

The Customer Service Representative provides front‑line support to patients and families, handling high‑volume appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and general inquiries. The position operates in a fast‑paced healthcare environment and may be performed on a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments following established protocols.
• Obtain, verify, and accurately enter patient information into the scheduling system.
• Conduct insurance verification and resolve related questions.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service to patients and callers.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
• Route calls to the correct internal teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Excellent typing ability and friendly telephone etiquette.
• Self‑directed, motivated, and able to multitask in a dynamic setting.
• Preferred: at least 6 months clerical experience, call‑center or physician‑practice background, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: bilingual in Spanish.
