Customer Support Associate – German

About the role

The Customer Support Associate will join Assent's Support team to obtain declarations and compliance information from suppliers in client supply chains, using a multi‑channel approach.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers via email, phone and conference calls to gather compliance data and assist with requests.
• Work directly with top‑tier suppliers, providing guidance and resources to help them respond to compliance requests.
• Handle inbound supplier calls, troubleshoot issues and ensure a positive experience.
• Engage unresponsive suppliers through outbound calls, education webinars and follow‑ups.
• Provide language support in German and English for internal translations, webinars and sales prospect calls.
• Collaborate with the Program Success team to develop strategies for new customers, campaigns and supplier challenges.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Relevant experience in administration, reporting, research, supplier/customer support or call‑centre environments.
• Strong time‑management abilities and capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Applications.
