Cyber Security Instructor

About the role

StarQode Tech Hub is looking for a passionate Cyber Security Instructor to join our training team in Westlands, Nairobi. You will deliver hands‑on courses that equip learners with practical skills in protecting applications, networks, and data from cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum covering application security, information security, network security, and malware analysis.
• Conduct classroom sessions, labs, and workshops for entry‑level to intermediate learners.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and mentor participants to build confidence.
• Stay current with emerging cyber threats and update training materials accordingly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred).
• At least three years of experience in cybersecurity roles or related training.
• Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
