About the role

Swift Beulah Insurance Agency Ltd, based in Nairobi, Kenya, offers group health, life and general insurance solutions for SMEs, organizations and mission-driven teams. It is hiring a full-time, remote Digital Medical Insurance Business Development Officer who can work from home, inside and outside Kenya. The role focuses on finding, prospecting and securing new clients for digital medical and group health insurance, especially among SMEs.

Key responsibilities

• Research target markets and generate leads.
• Conduct virtual and in-person client meetings and prepare proposals and presentations aligned with client needs.
• Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to structure suitable covers and support onboarding of new groups.
• Provide ongoing relationship management to improve client satisfaction and retention.
• Use digital tools and platforms to drive growth, analyze performance data and recommend ways to improve sales efficiency and market reach.

Required profile

• Strong digital business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management and closing deals in insurance or financial services.
• Solid analytical skills and a good understanding of finance to interpret data, assess risk and build commercially sound proposals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex insurance concepts and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
• High-quality customer service skills to support clients from onboarding through claims and renewals.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Marketing or a related field is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated integrity, results orientation and the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.

Required skills

• Relevant experience in medical or group insurance, B2B sales or corporate business development is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems, and comfort in a hybrid (office and remote) environment, are preferred.
