Digital Product Manager

About the role

Absa is seeking a Digital Product Manager to support the Head of Digital Commercialisation in developing and managing new and existing digital channels and products. The role combines project governance, market analysis, and implementation of digital solutions to strengthen Absa’s brand in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure project and programme managers deliver projects in line with Absa Africa standards, monitoring risks, issues and compliance.
• Assist the Programme Office Manager with project assurance and health reviews.
• Conduct competitor analysis, local market research and provide regulatory assessments.
• Develop business cases, testing plans and detailed implementation plans for new digital channels.
• Engage stakeholders, create steering committees and monitor rollout progress.
• Apply pricing strategies, publish pricing guides and communicate changes to regulators.
• Liaise with local operations centres to review operational standards, profitability and skill gaps.
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives and respond to complaints.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital product or channel management within a financial services environment.
• Strong project and programme governance skills, with the ability to manage risks and ensure compliance.
• Analytical mindset for market research, competitor benchmarking and pricing strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
