Direct Sales Representative – Personal Banking

About the role

The Direct Sales Representative will drive the acquisition of new customers and the mobilization of consumer banking products such as loans, deposits, and focus accounts. You will work closely with branch management and the sales team leader to achieve daily sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sell consumer banking products including new‑to‑bank (NTB) accounts, focus accounts, loans and deposits.
• Plan, track and report daily sales activities to branch management and the sales team leader.
• Map and scope business opportunities within the branch’s catchment area and coordinate sales activations.
• Deliver presentations to individual prospects, schemes and business owners.
• Conduct customer interviews at the branch or at their workplace to understand needs and propose suitable products.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking or financial services.
• A degree in a business‑related field from a recognized institution.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to negotiate and close sales.
• Self‑driven, integrity‑focused and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
