Director of Data Analytics

About the role

Educate! is scaling its data and technology capabilities and needs a senior leader to build an AI‑native performance metrics function. As Director of Data Analytics you will define the vision, structure and technical foundation for the organization’s data function and partner with senior leaders across product, implementation and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Define the strategy, operating model and team structure for the performance metrics function, establishing standards and cross‑functional forums.
• Design and own end‑to‑end data architecture, including ingestion, warehousing, transformation and delivery on a modern BI stack.
• Set quality standards for the analytics engineering layer (dbt and metrics layer on BigQuery) and ensure data is accurate, complete, timely and traceable.
• Partner with product, implementation and evaluation teams to decide what to measure and how, building self‑service analytics and dashboards.
• Raise data literacy across the organization and transition analysts from manual reporting to AI‑enabled semantic layers.

Required profile

• Senior data leader with experience building and scaling data teams in a fast‑growing, mission‑driven environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop leaders, create clear leveling frameworks and foster a culture of rigor and continuous learning.
• Strong cross‑functional partnership skills, acting as a trusted advisor to technology, evaluation and product leaders.
